Voice-acting, needless to say, top-notch. Once again, a villain well-developed with unpredictable plot twists, emotional attachment and quite a perfect ending. You managed to keep it both lighthearted but also deep. I can’t pick my favorite, but they were all amazing.As for storytelling, well, congratulations, Ankama, I put you in the same level as Avatar, Dreamworks and Disney. The scenarios were wonderful, and the fights, oh dear me, the fights. From the flash animation they use in Wakfu to what seems to be traditional animation. So when I started this movie, first thing I noticed was the gorgeous animation. And of course, I became immediately hooked.

Already acquainted with Ankama’s two biggest products, the Wakfu game and cartoon, I was surprised I let this movie pass, or maybe not, it’s barely a month since I started the game/anime. So while a younger person might find the voices fun, it actually makes it quite difficult for someone to understand them.Rarely a movie makes me scream “DAMN! WHAT A MOVIE!” And this one, needless to say, made me scream it more than once. Even though it was aimed at a younger audience the characters here all have distracting accents that make it very difficult to understand. Like with Wakfu, I tried to practice my french while watching the shorts but it was even worse here. I do like that it tried to show how the characters had evolved over the years however. It doesn’t help that the movie drags and there aren’t as many memorable characters nor a very compelling plot. The story is a little more in the vein of something from Wakfu and I think the movie suffers a bit for it as I didn’t expect this tone for the movie. Here you have a slightly older Jaris and it’s his adventure this time. The animation is even nicer than in the show, which for a bunch of shorts the animation was as good as Wakfu’s so it is impressive for both.

The show spawned a movie which judging by the title they were planning for more but didn’t quite get to doing them. Watch Dofus - Book I Julith, French Movie directed by Jean-Jacques Denis, starring Sauvane Delanoe, Emmanuel Gradi and Laeticia Lefebvre full movie online. Not to mention that the show actually has an ending. The show really has a little bit of everything including comedy, action and good stories. It is true the majority follow this format but not that also doesn’t discredit the stories as some are nice.īut we do get a nice mixture of stories, you have a multi-part episode, you get to meet recurring characters, you see the origin of events and items that are in the background or described in other episodes and you even get some stories that are in the “present” day which are just as fun. Our hero is leading a happy life in his magic shop in the city of Bonta. His name is Joris and he's proposing to take you on a fantastic adventure.
The strange little guy in the blue hood is well known to Krosmoz. The first few episodes set up the status quo and after that we star getting a few episodic shows and if you don’t watch much more than that you may very well think that all episodes are like that.
